About Floor Forge
Understand who operates the resource and what its guidance covers.
Flooring decisions are difficult when the advice is vague
A finish name and a price do not explain the preparation, installation boundaries, downtime, or future care. Floor Forge exists to help people organize those questions before committing to a coating project.
A planning resource with a clearly defined role
Floor Forge Garage is operated by David Williams. David also operates HashBit IT Solutions, which is why the contact address uses the hashbit.it domain.
We organize information for garage, residential, and commercial concrete-floor projects. The site does not inspect slabs, specify installations, install floors, or issue contractor bids. There is no bookable or rated contractor directory on the site.
A project review is a manual response to a planning question: preparing a brief, understanding a term, or identifying information to obtain from an installer. It does not establish product compatibility or replace an on-site assessment.
Understand what supports the guidance
- Named references: manufacturer examples link to their source, with the conditions and limits explained.
- Transparent numbers: the calculator uses your inputs; fictional examples teach arithmetic and comparison.
- Honest imagery: garage illustrations and hypothetical briefs are labeled and are not presented as completed installations.
- A correction route: send a page address, the statement, and any supporting source so the specific claim can be checked.
Manufacturer links are reference material, not evidence of endorsement or partnership.
How a planning question is handled
- You describe the question: include known use, condition, and optional measurements or budget details.
- The operator reviews it: a reply may point to an explanation or identify an unresolved question to take to the installer.
- You decide the next step: contact a contractor directly for assessment, bids, or installation scheduling.
No fixed reply time or contractor introduction is promised. For an update, use your receipt reference or original email address. Any possible introduction is discussed and requires consent before details are shared; any associated commercial arrangement should be explained before you proceed.
